Help build the app you will use
We are looking for up to 50 truck drivers to use Big Rig Butler on real runs and tell us what works and what does not. Your feedback decides what gets fixed before launch. It takes about 2 minutes to apply.
Why test it
- Use it before anyone else. You get the app before launch and try new features as they are built.
- Free while you test. No card, no catch.
- A free year of navigation. Testers who stay in the test and send feedback get their first 12 months of navigation free after launch.
- Talk straight to the builder. The app is built by a truck driver who spent decades in IT support. Send a problem from inside the app and it goes to him, not to a call center.
- Shape the app. Your reports and answers decide what gets fixed first and what gets built next.
- Help other drivers. The parking, fuel price and road reports you send help the next truck down the road.
- Android and iPhone. Both phones are in the test. Android testers install from Google Play; iPhone testers install through TestFlight, Apple's free app for testing new apps.
- A few minutes a week. Use the app on your runs, report problems from the app when you are parked, and answer 3 short questions by text on Sundays.
- Up to 50 drivers. We pick a mix of driver types: over-the-road, regional and local, owner-operators and company drivers, tractor-trailers and hotshots. If you are picked, we email you the install link.
What you will try
- Truck routes built around your truck's size, weight and hazmat class, with your truck and trailer picked from a list
- Fuel, parking and rest stops added to your route, with the time to your next stop
- A full-screen driving map with voice guidance that you can zoom and slide along the route
- Reports from drivers: parking, diesel prices and road problems
- Bill of lading scanning with your phone camera
- Break and drive-time reminders
- A fuel log with miles by state for your fuel tax report (IFTA)
This is a test version. Some parts are still being built, things may break, and features may change before launch. Always follow road signs and your own judgment.
