Thank you for helping test Big Rig Butler. In plain words, this is what you agree to when you join the test. "We" means Big Rig Butler LLC, a Tennessee limited liability company, which makes the app. "The test version" means any copy of the app we give you before it is released to the public, and everything in it.
1. Keep the test version private
- Do not post or share screenshots, screen recordings, videos, photos of the screen, or descriptions of the test version, its features, its prices or its plans, anywhere public (Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, forums, group chats) or with any other company.
- Do not share the install link, the app file or your test account with anyone. Each tester is invited by name.
- You may say that you are testing a new truck driver app. You may talk about things we have already announced in public, such as on our website.
- This lasts until we release the feature to the public, or two years after you leave the test, whichever comes first.
2. Do not take the app apart
Do not copy, unpack, decompile or try to read the inside of the test version, and do not try to get around its sign-in or its limits.
3. Tell us if you work for another app
If you work for, own part of, or are paid by a company that makes truck driver apps, load boards or electronic logs, tell us before you join. We may still welcome you, but we need to know.
4. Safety first
- Touch the screen only when your truck is parked. While driving, use only the voice features (spoken directions, spoken questions and the one-tap microphone), and only as the law allows. Never type, read long text or hold the phone while driving.
- This is a test version. Things will break, and routes and other information can be wrong. Always follow road signs, the law and your own judgment. You are responsible for driving your truck safely.
- The test version is not an electronic logging device (ELD). Keep your official logs in your ELD.
5. Your feedback
Your reports and ideas help us build the app. You agree that we may use them to improve Big Rig Butler, without paying you for them. We will not name you in public without asking.
6. Free, as is, and you can stop any time
- The test is free. The test version is given "as is", without promises that it works or fits any purpose, as far as the law allows.
- Thank-you for testers: if you stay in the test until it ends and answer at least half of the weekly check-ins, you get your first 12 months of navigation free after launch, on the account you tested with. It cannot be traded for cash or moved to another account. If we end your place in the test because of a problem on our side, you still get it.
- You can leave the test at any time: tell us and delete the app. We can end the test, or your place in it, at any time.
- When you leave, delete the test version from your phone. Section 1 still applies for the time it says.
7. Your information
We handle what you give us, including your problem reports and the phone details sent with them, as our privacy policy says.
